Great Lakes Compact (MN, WI, MI)

Forecast Fire Danger for 6-29-15:   Low to moderate

Fire Weather:   Scattered showers and storms will affect the central and eastern Great Lakes into Tuesday.  Strong to severe storms are possible over the Upper Mississippi Valley into Monday evening.  Mainly dry conditions are forecast the remainder of the week into the morning of July 4th 

 

Big Rivers Compact (IA, MO, IL, IN)

Forecast Fire Danger for 6-29-15:  Low to moderate

Fire Weather:  Scattered showers and storms will drop southeast through the north central and eastern parts of the compact into Tuesday.  Areas of showers and storms, some producing heavy rainfall, will affect the northwestern and southern Big Rivers later Tuesday night into Wednesday night.  Mainly dry conditions are then expected through the rest of the week. 

 

Northeast Compact (NY, MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME)

Forecast Fire Danger for 6-29-15: Low to moderate

Fire Weather:  Areas of showers and storms will spread through the compact into Tuesday night with drier conditions forecast Wednesday into Wednesday night.  Additional rainfall is then expected through the end of the work week.  

 

Mid-Atlantic Compact (OH, PA, NJ, DE, MD, WV)

Forecast Fire Danger for 6-29-15:  Low to moderate

Fire Weather:   Mainly dry conditions will prevail Sunday into early Monday.  Areas of showers and storms are then forecast to spread through the compact late Monday night into Wednesday.  Rainfall is expected through the New England Metro later this week.

Fuels/Fire Potential

Fire potential will be low to moderate across the majority of the Eastern Area this forecast period.
