Great Lakes Compact (MN, WI, MI)

Forecast Fire Danger for 7-15-15:   Low to moderate

Fire Weather:   Drier conditions will prevail into Wednesday evening.  Areas of showers and storms are then forecast Wednesday night into Friday from west to east. Heat and humidity will build into the area this weekend additional storms expected Saturday night into Monday.  

 

Big Rivers Compact (IA, MO, IL, IN)

Forecast Fire Danger for 7-15-15:  Low to moderate

Fire Weather:  Mainly dry conditions will prevail into Wednesday with additional storms advancing through the northern tier of the compact Thursday into Friday night.  Storms will be possible across the far northern tier of the compact this weekend.  However, most of the Big Rivers will be dry this weekend. 

 

Northeast Compact (NY, MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME)

Forecast Fire Danger for 7-15-15: Low to moderate

Fire Weather:  Areas of rainfall will linger over the New England Metro into Wednesday evening.  Otherwise mainly dry conditions are expected through the end of the work week.  The next chance of rain is set to advance through Friday evening into Saturday night. 

 

Mid-Atlantic Compact (OH, PA, NJ, DE, MD, WV)

Forecast Fire Danger for 7-15-15:  Low to moderate

Fire Weather:  Areas of rainfall will linger over the eastern Mid-Atlantic States into Wednesday evening.  Otherwise mainly dry conditions are expected through the end of the work week.  The next chance of rain is set to advance through Friday afternoon into Saturday night.

Fire potential will be low to moderate across the majority of the Eastern Area this forecast period.
